About Us
The Party Kit Network is passionate about helping to make parties more sustainable.

We aim to prevent tonnes of plastic and paper partyware entering the environment by supplying party organisers with an alternative, while raising awareness that reusables can be easier, cheaper and a lot more fun.

Each of of the party kits are run independently by individuals from home, small businesses, school PTAs and community groups for the benefit of their local communities.

The network is a non-profit Community Interest Company which means that any money raised is reinvested in helping us achieve our social purpose. We do not charge members a fee or take commission from any hire fees.

Founded in 2019 in the UK, the network launched in Australia in 2020. In 2021 we opened up membership to party kits from any country.

In 2023 we launched Party Kits for Schools. An initiative which funds the set up of new party kits for school PTAs. Learn more about Party Kits for Schools
“The Network inspired me to start up a kit in my area and has been an invaluable source of advice and support ever since. Isabel has done an amazing job in sharing ideas and information to create a network of like minded individuals. Together we really can save the planet one party at a time!”

UK member (January 2020)
How we are funded
We do not charge a membership fee or take commission from any party kit bookings. This means that we need to find alternative ways to fund the work of our network. Our core income comes from:

-
Income from Party Kit Winchester (which is the only party kit owned and operated by the Party Kit Network CIC)
-
Coroporate sponsorship
What we spend money on
Our costs are low. We have no staffing costs and we are fortunate to receive some professional services and subscriptions at zero cost. Our core costs are:

-
Website domain registration and hosting
-
Website app and software subscriptions
-
Banking fees
-
Any grants awarded to members. In 2020 we awarded 4 training grants which enabled members to obtain a relevant health and safety certificate.
