Running a party kit means we do a lot of washing up. Plates, cups, serving dishes, cutlery - after every kit comes home, there’s a sink full of reusables waiting to be cleaned and packed away ready for the next celebration. It’s one of the less glamorous parts of the job, and we wouldn’t change it for the world. So when the team at Elephant Box got in touch to offer us one of their beautiful stainless steel washing up bowls to give away to our community, it felt like the perfect fit.
Elephant Box was founded in 2015 with a simple but powerful idea: plastic is a problem, and beautiful, durable reusables are part of the solution. Their mission is to help people buy better and buy less, creating products designed to last a lifetime rather than end up in landfill. They’re proud members of 1% For The Planet, giving a percentage of their sales every year to environmental causes including Surfers Against Sewage and Trees for Cities. You might know them best for their stainless steel lunchboxes and food storage containers (genuinely brilliant if you’re trying to ditch plastic from your packed lunches and kitchen) but it’s their washing up bowl that caught our eye.
Made from premium 304 grade stainless steel with a smooth folded rim, it’s plastic-free, hygienic, easy to clean, and backed by a 15 year warranty. While the average plastic washing up bowl ends up in landfill within a few years, this one is genuinely built for life. One of their customers put it perfectly: “the most beautiful washing up bowl I have ever owned.”

The giveaway is open to UK residents only (sorry - it's quite big to post overseas!)
No purchase is necessary to enter.
Social entry: follow @partykitnetwork on Instagram or Facebook and tag a friend in the comments of the giveaway post. Entries are accepted across all PKN giveaway posts during the open period. One entry per person regardless of the number of posts or tags; additional tags do not count as additional entries.
Member entry: all current Party Kit Network members based in the UK (listed on our map on the closing date of the competition) are automatically entered with one entry. Members who also tag a friend on the Instagram post will receive one additional entry.
The giveaway closes at midnight (12am BST) on Tuesday 19th May 2026. Entries after this time will not be counted.
One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.
The winner will be contacted within 48 hours of the draw. If the winner does not respond within 5 days, a new winner will be drawn.
