We collectively logged 290,506 single-use items avoided by the hire of party kits!
How the audit works...
Each year we count up the number of times reusable plates, cups, bowls and cutlery are lent within a 12-month period. This is one of the ways we can measure the positive impact of party kits.
The next audit will be open from 30 August 2024 until 16 September 2024.
The 2024 Audit will cover the lending period 1 August 2023 to 31 July 2024.

Last year we logged 290,506 single-use items avoided through the hire of our party kits.
We can't wait to see what this year's total will be!
To complete the audit you need to do 3 things:

Check you can receive enquiry emails
If you haven't already received a booking enquiry via our website, please send yourself a test from your listing page now. Please include the word 'test' in the comments.

Calculate your impact
This is the total number of reusable tableware items lent between:
1st August 2023 and 31st July 2024
The 6 reusable items we count are:

bowls

knives

forks

spoons
There's a calculator below for working out a rough number based on the number of hires and average kit size.
Notes:

Count the total number of items which were lent, not the items used (should some be returned unused by the borrower).

You may include times you used your own kit.

If you are completing this before 31st July, please make a best guess for the remainder of the year.

Individual submissions are not published, only our collective total.
The audit needs to be completed by Monday 9th September 2024.
How we use the information collected:
1. The audit helps us ensure that potential hirers get the best possible experience when looking for a party kit. Accurate listings and timely responses to enquiries help us achieve that.
2. We measure the social impact of the network using the total number of single-use items avoided through the hire of member party kits. Your own number of single-use items is added to the total for the network which is then shared publicly, including in our Annual Report (Read last year's Annual Report)
3. We take your feedback into consideration when planning the future of the network.
